Paula Kreissler<\/span><\/h3><\/div><\/div><\/div>

President and CEO<\/span><\/h4>

Paula is the President and CEO of Wound Care Clinic \u2013 ESU, Inc. in Savannah, GA. Founded in 2005, the clinic specializes in healing chronic and acute non-healing wounds using innovative, standard therapies such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound.<\/span><\/p>

Wound Care Clinic won the 2008 Small Business of the Year Award from the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce and received the 2007 Savannah Small Business Chamber\u2019s award for New and Emerging Small Businesses.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Paula is also Executive Director for Healthy Savannah. She is vice-chair of the board of Tide to Town, a 30+ mile system designed for pedestrians and bicyclists, and on the board and chair of the governance committee of East Savannah United, a future Purpose-Built Community.<\/p>

In 2008 Paula received the Top Ten Working Women\u2019s Entrepreneur of the Year Award by A Working Women In Need (AWWIN), an organization dedicated to supporting single working women; in 2015, she received the United Way of the Coastal Empire \u2013 Women\u2019s Legacy Award, and in 2020 was named a Savannah Tech Community STAR.<\/p>

Paula graduated from Concordia University, has an MBA in Sustainable Business with a concentration in Government Policy and Administration, is a CPA, is a LEED Green Associate, and is a 2016 graduate of Leadership Southeast Georgia. The first 25 years of her career were spent primarily in operations management at FedEx. John Leonard, RN<\/span><\/h3><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Head of Clinic<\/span><\/h4>

John J. Leonard graduated from the school of Radiologic Technology in 1966. Eventually, John also graduated from Armstrong State University School of Nursing in 1974. John was the director of the cardiovascular suite and radiology department for 25 years. He also worked at Candler Hospital as a Staff RN in the emergency department for 15 years and Staff RN for the Alzheimer\u2019s day program. Later on, John went to work for Tidelands Mental Health for five years. Then he was the campus supervisor at Georgia Regional Hospital for five years. Lastly, John joined our team at Wound Care Clinic \u2013 ESU as our head RN in 2008.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Tasha Schultz, FNP-BC<\/span><\/h3><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Certified Family Nurse Practitioner<\/span><\/h4>

Tasha Schultz is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Southern University A&M College School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2004 and a Master of Science in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner in 2008. She has many years of clinical nursing experience, including the medical-surgical unit, the ortho-neuro unit, the research department, the mother\/baby unit, the pediatric department, pediatric Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE), wound care, pediatric hematology\/oncology, retail health, and disability examinations for the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), screening for Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) and Post Deployment Health Reassessment (PDHR). Tasha\u2019s true passion is wound care, and she plans to receive her wound certification one day.<\/span><\/p>

\u201cI am truly blessed to be able to care for wonderful patients every day and to share my love for wound care with an amazing staff.\u201d Tasha joined our team at Wound Care Clinic \u2013 ESU in 2016. Tasha was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is a military spouse and currently resides in Richmond Hill, GA, with her husband Herman, daughter Carrington, son Kingston and puppy Willow. In her spare time, Tasha enjoys working out, traveling, reading, and shopping. Office Manager and Certified Patient Care Technician<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>

Shelby is a Certified Patient Care Technician (PCT) who received her certification at Savannah Technical College in 2014. Shelby has previously worked at a local nursing home as well as retail and restaurant work but has been with our team at the Wound Care Clinic since July 2015. Medical Assistant<\/span><\/h4>

Mariah is just beginning her career in the medical field. She joined our team at Wound Care Clinic-ESU as a Medical Assistant in October of 2022. Before joining us, Mariah worked in restaurants and warehouses.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Since beginning work at Wound Care Clinic, she has found that she loves working in wound care and loves being able to develop relationships with our patients.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Nurse Practitioner<\/span><\/h4>

Marianne is a Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner who has experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, wound care, mental health, and bio-identical hormone therapy replacement. <\/span>She originally attended Armstrong State University and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Subsequently, she returned to Armstrong for her Master of Science in Nursing degree with a specialty in Gerontology. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Marianne was born and raised in Savannah and continues to reside and practice in her hometown.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Dana Tomko<\/span><\/h3><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Nurse Practitioner<\/span><\/h4>

Dana Tomko is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2003 with her Bachelor of Science in nursing. She was working at Memorial Health Emergency Room while in nursing school and stayed there as an RN until she went back to get her Masters Degree. She graduated from University of Cincinnati in 2012 with her Masters of Science in nursing. She became board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She then started working for Georgia Emergency Associates in 2013 and still is with them today. GEA staff’s Candler, St. Josephs, and Statesboro Emergency rooms. She has worked in Emergency Medicine for the past 20 years. Dana came to work here at the wound clinic in February of 2021.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Dana was born in Cocoa Beach Florida and has lived in Florida and Georgia her whole life. She came to Savannah in 2001 and has loved it ever since. She enjoys working out, shopping, traveling, going to the beach and being with her family and friends. She spends as much time traveling as she can or going out in her boat here in Savannah.
